How to care for your Mason de Marenci jewelry

Taking care of your jewelry will help ensure that it continues to give pleasure and delight for years to come. Precious metals and gemstones do not degrade over time; however, it is very important to store Mason de Marenci jewelry correctly. Please make sure the metal and stones on one piece cannot scratch or knock against other jewelry pieces in your collection.

If you need to clean your Mason de Marenci jewelry, you should use lukewarm water and a gentle, glycerin-free soap. A soft brush can also be used. Over time the mercury can start to dissolve the gold, which can cause the gold to break, ultimately destroying the piece of jewelry.

Avoid any cleaning products even those specifically designed for jewellery. Many cleaners may contain harsh chemicals that could damage gemstones, metals, or their finishes.

When shopping and planning to try on clothes, we recommend leaving your jewellery at home to avoid mishaps. However, if you decide to take them with you, remove and place them carefully, always checking that all your pieces, including the backs of earrings, are in place before you leave the fitting room.
